Domino Ensemble

Domino Ensemble er donsk kvintett, sum er samansett av klaveri og fýra blásarum. Tónleikararnir funnu í 2021 saman um alskyns kamartónleik og vøkru verkini hjá Mozart og Beethoven. Kvintettin roynir støðugt nýggj verk, har tey fimm ljóðførini eru sett saman og krossast á ymsan hátt eins og dominobrikkar.

Á skránni til konsertinarnar verður m.a. føroyskur tónleikur eftir Kára Bæk og Paula í Sandagerði, brot úr verkum eftir Mozart og Beethoven og nýskapandi verkið hjá John Kristensen ”Kyiv”.

Domino Ensemble is a Danish quintet comprising piano and four wind instruments. Sharing a passion for chamber music and the great works of Mozart and Beethoven with this particular instrumentation, the musicians got together in the spring of 2021. The ensemble is constantly exploring new works where the five instruments are combined in different ways and intersect like dominoes.

The concerts will feature Faroese music by Kári Bæk and Pauli í Sandagerði, excerpts from works by Mozart and Beethoven as well as John Kristensen’s inventive work “Kyiv”.
